Formula 4 Driver Maltina Jashari Seeks Sponsors for 2026 F1 Academy Journey

Salford, UK / 10 July, 2026/ Maltina Jashari

University of Salford student Maltina Jashari is raising sponsorship to compete in the 2026 Aramco F4 Saudi Arabian Championship, building on a year of success across Formula 4, engineering and esports.

University of Salford student and Formula 4 racing driver Maltina Jashari has launched a sponsorship campaign to support her 2026 racing season as she prepares to compete in the Aramco F4 Saudi Arabian Championship. The FIA-certified championship is the next step in her progression towards F1 Academy, Formula 1's global series dedicated to developing female racing talent.

An Architectural Engineering student, Maltina has built an increasingly diverse motorsport career that combines racing, engineering and technology. Over the past year she competed in the FIA Formula 4 Global Shootout, raced Radical SR3 machinery internationally, joined the Alpine F1 Sim Racing Team for the British F4 Esports Championship, and completed the Aston Martin F1 Leadership Programme.

As the first racing driver to receive direct sponsorship from the University of Salford, Maltina has developed a profile that extends beyond the racetrack. Passionate about increasing female representation in motorsport and STEM, she regularly works with schools, universities and industry partners to encourage more young women to pursue careers in engineering, technology and racing.

Maltina said: "I've had to create my own pathway into motorsport, and that's made me determined to help create one for others. Racing is only part of what I do. I want to show that engineering, technology and motorsport are all places where young women belong. Every opportunity I earn helps make that path a little more visible."

The 2026 championship offers Maltina the opportunity to compete on FIA Grade 1 circuits alongside Formula 1 race weekends, providing valuable experience and international exposure as she works towards securing a place in F1 Academy. The championship is recognised as one of the most accessible and competitive routes into Formula 4 racing.

Maltina is seeking commercial partners to support her 2026 campaign. Sponsorship opportunities range from supporting partner packages to title sponsorship, with benefits including branding on the race car and race suit, media exposure, hospitality, speaking engagements and collaborative marketing throughout the season.

Professor Andy Miah, Professor at the University of Salford, said: "Maltina is an exceptional talent whose achievements span engineering, motorsport and esports. Supporting her journey is an investment in both sporting excellence and the next generation of STEM leaders."
