THE COLLECTIVE WOMEN’S SPORTS- MALTINA JASHARI
She's one of twelve drivers in the world.
She can't afford to show up.
She can't afford not to.
Motorsport runs on family money. That's the unspoken rule of the sport, the seats go to the drivers whose parents can fund them. Maltina Jashari has spent eleven years proving it wrong.
She got herself into a Formula 4 car.
She earned a seat on Alpine's F1 sim team. She was picked as one of twelve drivers worldwide for the FIA Global Shootout.
She raised every pound of it herself, ran her own campaign, and did it while taking an engineering degree.
This season, she needs to raise £150,000 to compete and isn't doing it alone.
We're going to show what The Collective can do.
No woman has started a Formula 1 race since 1976
Fifty years ago Lella Lombardi broke through against every odd and expectation.
She was a butcher's daughter from a small village in Piedmont. Her family owned no car and neither of her parents drove — Lella became the first person in the family to hold a driving licence, learning at the wheel of her father's meat delivery van. She saved, paid her own way into racing, and in 1975 became the only woman in history to score a point in the Formula 1 World Championship. She is still the only one.
She didn't do it alone. A backer paid for her seat that season. Someone decided she was worth funding, and the record books changed.
The sport has become far more expensive to enter since. A single season on the bottom rung of the ladder now costs roughly four times the average UK salary. So the barrier in front of a driver like Maltina isn't one barrier. It's two, and they multiply: a sport built for men, and priced for the wealthy.

Motorsport is a team sport. For the past eleven years, Maltina has been the entire team. Let's build her a real one!
She is a startup founder, an elite athlete and a student, all at once — at a level most people could not sustain doing one.

What £150,000 buys
Six rounds, October to December, at the Jeddah Corniche street circuit and Lusail in Qatar. Twenty drivers, identical cars, one cost structure — the fairest grid in F4, where a result is earned rather than bought. It's the step F1 Academy watches. Broadcast in English and Arabic, 29M regional media reach. For companies this is a marketing spend, invoiced, not a donation.
Expanding into the Gulf? A stand at a regional trade show costs more than the top tier here, and nobody remembers it. This is two race weekends of hospitality, Arabic-language broadcast, and a story your customers repeat.
Want to help another way?
PR and media contacts. Design and content. A media buyer. Anyone with commercial relationships in Saudi or the UAE. And people who will share this every single week until October. One introduction to someone with a marketing budget takes ninety seconds and is so valuable and appreciated!
